About the Show: Mamma Mia! is a high-energy, feel-good musical set on a sun-soaked Greek island, featuring the timeless hits of ABBA. On the eve of her wedding, Sophie secretly invites three men from her mother Donna’s past in hopes of discovering which one is her father. As old romances resurface and wedding plans unravel, love, laughter, and friendship take center stage in this heartwarming celebration of family and finding yourself.

About the Team: Larry Goodwin, our director, works as the Clarkston High School Drama Advisor and is a long time LCT Alumni as both a director and an actor.  Our choreographer, Becky Stout, has been involved in productions like Follies, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and is also a Radio City Rockette. Her husband, Todd MacIntyre, will be helping us with musical direction and has performed everywhere from Tokyo Disney, the Kennedy Center and on stage in musicals like Mamma Mia,  The Scarlet Pimpernel and She Loves Me.

WHAT TO PREPARE: Please learn one of the following cuts to sing and be prepared to learn a dance as part of your audition. If called back, we will have more materials and may do readings. If auditioning for the part of Harry, and you can play the guitar, please be prepared to play for callbacks.

Donna Sheridan
Stage Age: 40–55
Vocal Part: Mezzo-Soprano (strong belt to E5)
Independent, spirited owner of a Greek taverna and former lead singer of a girl group. Confident and witty with emotional depth. Strong comedic timing and powerful vocals required.

Sophie Sheridan
Stage Age: 20–25
Vocal Part: Soprano (lyric with strong mix/belt to E5)
Romantic and determined bride-to-be searching for her father. Bright, sincere, and warm with strong pop-style vocals.

Tanya Cresham-Leigh
Stage Age: 40–55
Vocal Part: Alto/Mezzo (belt to E5)
Glamorous, wealthy, and thrice-divorced. Flirtatious and confident with sharp comedic instincts. Strong mover.

Rosie Mulligan
